Ho-Bits
Ho-bits are replacement spoons designed to be welded to the tips of a rotary hoe wheel to revitalize your worn down wheels. These spoons are made of high carbon steel and are tempered to ensure a long wear life lasting on average 2 to 3 times longer than the spoon of a typical rotary hoe wheel point. They are also more aggressive helping better to aid in the removale of small weeds in your crop.
Companion Products such include Jigs, to hold the spoons, and Rivet Die, to quickly remove rivets for bearing replacement. Ho-Bits are currently $0.95 per spoon plus shipping. Torsion weeders
Torsion Weeders are used to up root or undercut small weeds near the plant while offering a level of flex around the stronger crops stem and roots in order to ensure the crop itself is left unharmed thus allowing tight cultivation to the row.
We use commercially available torsion tines while focusing on supplying torsion weeder mounts for various available cultivators on the market. Commonly used in vegetable production, Practical Farm Supply is now bringing these unique tines to the corn and bean row crop farmer. Row Weeders
Row Weeders are a mid season solution to the age old question, "should I weed 'em or should I row 'em". With PFS' Row Weeders you no longer have to guess, you can do both.
The Row Weeders have the ability to be moved vertically, laterally, and have individual tine height and angle adjustment. They fit on most row cultivators with different clamps available for 1.5 and 2 inch square tubing.
Some individuals may choose to buy 2 units per row to convert a row cultivator into a dedicated tine weeder.
